Electricity generation becomes more attractive when the site has high internal power demand, expensive grid electricity or limited fuel buyers.

How Does Pyrolysis Compare With Direct Combustion?

The Two Processes Have Different Project Goals

Direct combustion releases heat immediately and often produces steam to drive a turbine. It may suit projects that prioritize centralized heat and electricity.

Pyrolysis plant operates under oxygen-limited conditions and preserves more energy in oil, gas and solid products. This gives investors several value routes, including oil sales, carbon black recovery, steel recycling and energy reuse.
